The Daily Links – August 4th

A bit late, as is often the case at the beginning of the week, but here goes. I’ve also got to write a piece on what happened over the weekend, which was the launch and stage separation failure of the Falcon 1 rocket from SpaceX. This was their first commercial launch, and was carrying real cargo (including people’s remains) as well. There was also a Rocket Racing event over the weekend. Both of these will have separate sections down below, since there is so much news on them.
